Lord Krishna’s teachings and thoughts are sufficient to change someone’s life positively. He is the only Hindu deity who is worshipped all around the world. In fact, Lord Krishna considered one of the most enigmatic deities. Krishna’s disappearance marks the end of Dvapara Yuga and the start of Kali Yuga (present age), which is dated to February 17/18, 3102 BCE.In Hindu religion, the great Lord Krishna holds a very important place. The principal scriptures discussing Krishna’s story are the Mahabharata, the Harivamsa, the Bhagavata Purana, and the Vishnu Purana. They portray him in various perspectives: a god-child, a prankster, a model lover, a divine hero, and the Supreme Being. The stories of Krishna appear across a broad spectrum of Hindu philosophical and theological traditions. Krishna is often described and portrayed as an infant eating butter, a young boy playing a flute as in the Bhagavata Purana, or as an elder giving direction and guidance as in the Bhagavad Gita. In present age Krishna is one of the most widely revered and most popular of all Indian divsinitie. The Indologists in the light of available historical records and literary documents, astronomical references (the positions of constellations) have concluded that the war of Mahabharata broke out on 12th November 3143 B.C, which means almost 5152 years back. He is the principal protagonist with Arjuna in the Bhagwad Gita also known as the Song of God, which depicts the conversation between the Royal Prince Arjuna and Krishna during the great battle of Kurukshetra 5000 years ago where Arjuna discovers that Krishna is God and then comprehends his nature and will for him and for mankind. The position he take and the role he plays in the great war of Mahabharata, is extremely important and significant. He is known as the eigth incranation of Lord Vishnu. Shri Krishna belongs to the Dvapara Yuga.
